Below you will find a list of events from around the Diocese of East Anglia, many are run by the Diocesan Youth Service but some may be run by other organisations operating in the Diocese. World Youth Day Lisbon 2023 - The next international World Youth Day will be held in Lisbon, Portugal 1st-6th August 2023. A Diocesan group from East Anglia will be heading to Portugal to join this incredible event! We will be going for around 2 weeks at the end of July/beginning of August 2023. To guarantee a place, bookings must be received by July 31 st 2022. After this, bookings will only be accepted on a first come first served basis, subject to accommodation availability. 11-15th August 2022 – England’s Way – 4 day Walk to Walsingham

A ‘proper pilgrimage’ for 18-35 year olds spending 4 days in the glorious East Anglian countryside winding our way on foot from St Edmund’s ancient shrine at Bury St Edmunds to the National Shrine & Basilica of Our Lady at Walsingham. Registration just £75 (including accommodation, breakfast and a main meal each day). Booking and full details available by clicking here. A collaboration between Radio Maria England and the Diocesan Youth Service.

Inviting all young people age 16 – 30 to the Transform Festival

September 9th – 11th

Come and experience your faith in a new and dynamic way. Held at Clare Priory the Transform Festival will include live music, powerful talks, passionate prayer and interactive workshops, as well as good food and free time! TBC 19th November 2022 – WYD East Anglia

Following Pope Francis’ invitation to gather as a Diocese to celebrate World Youth Day each year on the feast of Christ the King, we hope to gather young people from across the Diocese for a celebration of faith. More info will be made available in the Autumn.

Saturday 4th March 2023 – Flame at Wembley Arena

Join us for the biggest Catholic youth gathering in England with thousands of young people at the world-famous SSE Wembley Arena. The theme for Flame 2023 is beLoved and the day is set to include lively music, international speakers and a lot more. Open to those from Year 9 up to and including university age. July/August 2023 – World Youth Day Lisbon

At the invitation of Pope Francis, young people from around the world will gather in Lisbon for a life-changing week of celebration and pilgrimage. A group of those aged 16 or over from the Diocese of East Anglia will travel to be among them. Click here for more info
