What do I need to do to access this training resource?

1. To register your interest please email the Diocesan Safeguarding Administrator,

Mrs Rebecca Bretherton at: easafeguarding@gmail.com or
safeguarding.administrator@east-angliadiocese.org.uk

2. Your email should contain your name, the name of your parish/order/congregation, and your role. For example: Priest, Member of the Religious, Safeguarding Representative, Youth Worker, Teacher, SVP or Other Volunteers, Parent/Grandparent/Guardian, or Other.

3. On receipt of your email the safeguarding administrator will register your email address with EduCare.

4. You will receive a Welcome Email from EduCare where you will set your password.

5. You will then have instant access to the training programmes

The statue of Mary and Joseph making their way to Bethlehem will begin its journey in our Parish on Saturday 1st December – marking the First Sunday of Advent. If you could give the travellers a place of rest for a day or a week and invite others into your home to pray together during Advent please complete a space in the rota at the back of the Church.

 

Peterborough Light Project for the homeless Winter 2018

Peterborough Light Project will be opening their doors every evening at various churches around the city for homeless people to have a bed and a hot meal from November for 20 weeks. They will be looking for volunteers to help cook an evening meal or serve or just be welcomers or helpers in a variety of roles. You don’t need to volunteer for every night nor even for once a week. RCIA Course-Becoming Catholic

The RCIA course has now started and meets on Weds in the parish centre 7.30pm. This is for anyone considering becoming a Catholic or is interested in learning more about their faith please do come along.

 

Patients In Hospital – IMPORTANT

The Hospital Chaplains have asked that we make people aware that if they or a relation are going into hospital, please inform the Hospital Chaplaincy Team at the hospital so that they can be visited and supported.

If the patient is a Roman Catholic please also inform the Parish Priest and Roman Catholic Chaplain on duty. This is because of Patient Confidentiality the hospital will not inform the Chaplaincy Team. It is up to the family to do so
