Fr David, Fr John and the Sisters,September 19th 2003,
on the occasion of the centenary of the Daughters of Jesus.
Note: Fr David Bagstaff finished his 10 year term as parish priest at All Souls on Sunday 21st September 2003. A final Mass and party was held for him on Saturday 20th September.
Fr David's message:-
"Words seem inadequate as I try to express my thanks and appreciation for last Saturday evening and for all the kind cards, comments and gifts I received during my final weeks in the parish. The Cheque presented on behalf of the parish was so very generous - it will come in most handy in the months ahead!
I set off on Wednesday for my six week trip to the U.S.A. to visit various parishes, with a view to seeing how they are coping with fewer priests to serve their parishes and how they are developing lay ministries etc.
Do keep me in your prayers and thoughts as I will you. Once again "Many thanks" to everyone."
