Fr David was in Norwich in 1957 and baptised at St John’s (not then the Cathedral). Also there he made his First Holy Communion (1964) and confirmed in (1968). He attended the Catholic Schools of Willow Lane, St John’s and St Thomas More.
Fr David completed his studies for the priesthood in 1993 (from St John’s Seminary, Wonersh, Guildford) and was ordained on 1st May – the Feast of St Joseph the Worker (Joseph being his confirmation name) at St John’s Cathedral, Norwich by Bishop Alan Clark.
He was appointed first to Our Lady and the English Martyrs, Cambridge, 1993 – 1997, then as Parish Priest to Our Lady and St Thomas of Canterbury, Wymondham, Norfolk, 1997-2003. In September 2003 he was appointed Parish Priest of St Peter and All Souls, Peterborough.
