GIFT SUNDAY

This will be on 12^th &13^th December. We provide food parcels from your generosity to families who find things difficult over the Christmas period. Please take one of our lists and bring a couple of items for the parcels on that weekend.

BBC RADIO BROADCAST

We have been approached by the Diocese to host a BBC Cambridge Radio Christmas Broadcast during December.

This will take place on Saturday 12^th December at 2.30pm with the intention of it being broadcast on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

One for the features of the broadcast will be interviews with various Parish Communities and Groups highlighting the Diversity and Community involvement of the Parish.Please come along and support this event.

ADVENT AND CHRISTMAS POSADA FOR PRAYER

During Advent and the Christmas Season a statue of the Holy Family (a Posada) will be taken around the parish for Parishioners to pray to during the festive season to celebrate the Coming and Birth of Our Lord. This will take place from Sunday 29^th November until Tuesday 2^nd February.

The parish has been split into 9 areas and in each area a family will have the Posada for a week so parishioners can visit and pray in the hosts home as a community. People are asked to put their name on the list at the back of church against the week and area they are prepared to host.

The areas around the Parish are;-

1.Dogsthorpe and Welland; 2. Millfield and New England; 3. Eastfield and Eastgate:

4. Park and Central; 5. Stanground and Park Farm; 6. Cardea and Farcet; 7. Fletton and Woodston; 8. Parwell, Eye and Newborough; 9. Longthorpe, Netherton and West Town.
